At Uthishta, we are dedicated to transforming lives in underserved communities through education and skill development. One of our key initiatives is in Ramgiri, a 100% tribal village home to around 65 families. The residents face significant financial challenges, with many working as daily laborers. However, with the right support, we believe we can uplift this community and create sustainable livelihoods.

This initiative reflects our broader mission of empowering vulnerable communities through education, skill development, and sustainable livelihood programs. We are proud of the progress we have made in Ramgiri and look forward to expanding these efforts to create lasting change.

Women Empowerment -Tailoring and Skill Development
In a bid to empower the women of Ramgiri, Uthishta has initiated a Skill Development Training Center, starting with a tailoring class. Currently, 14 young women are receiving training, which will enable them to create a better future for themselves and their families. After completing the training, our plan is to set up a cloth bag manufacturing unit, offering them sustainable employment opportunities.

Uthishta plans to introduce driving lessons for young men in the village. This training will equip them with valuable skills, enhancing their job opportunities and helping them achieve financial stability.

Ramgiri has only one school, the Government Lower Primary School, where 29 children are enrolled. To improve their learning environment, Uthishta has repainted the school and distributed essential educational supplies such as school bags, uniforms, notebooks, and other stationery. Our goal is to ensure that every child has access to quality education and the resources needed to succeed.
